If we took todays lens and ran it through people in the past 2000 years that have existed - there’s very close to no one that wouldn’t be cancelled - is my guess The audacity of wanting people to conform to a “moral compass” or appeal to some sort of liberal empathy is a very recent phenomena

This is so very true. TV show episodes from the 90s — some Seinfeld episodes come to mind — would never be approved for airing today
