I just checked his Strava … looks real enough, though I suspect some strategic pause/unpause to get the diagonals, as there are no streets/paths to achieve those segments…

Or just a custom made gpx file created on Google earth. 
Strong doubt he ran those routes. How is the pace, HR during those sessions?

No HR (red flag?) but pace graph looks natural enough

Can you cast the link to the Strava profile? I want to zoom in the map to see if there are the common gps artifacts when your record it live, lines too straight are BIG red flags
