anyone ever hung a door - tricky? we have sliding barn doors in front of the study but want to replace them with a standard swinging door

never done it but watched some videos on it [don't ask me why] seems fairly simple [famous last words] depending on your frame situation. do you have to reframe it? or just trim doors to fit and install hinges etc?
