A friend pointed out my recent posting about my Towers series on @rodeodotclub was  a bit confusing. Wrote this in a comment:

These renders I've been posting as teasers represent my process working with 3D models as source material. Iterating different visual treatments (some serious, some ridiculous) is me finding a satisfying approach to the form. 

Faux architecture or candy-colored kitsch? Maybe brutalist monument? 

The plan is to release Towers as a series of rendered images, but importantly also as interactive GLTF models - my first serious foray into distributable 3D content. 🔴🔴🔴

Posted this on my Instagram (prematurely) last week before deciding to make GLTF a key output. Still need to make a definitive choice for texture and look-and-feel that will work in GLTF.

Also, how to give a GLTF model a sense of scale? Been adding models of tiny humans to sketch renders just to remind myself.  😅
