1-13-2025 ⛓️ This is niche but TIL: I spent today learning a lot about nonces, especially 2d nonces. One of the problems with cross-chain TX is that single sequence numbers across networks make failure a nightmare. If 1 chain breaks, you have to re-sign everything. With a 2d nonce you have two dimensions of identification for transactions, rather than a single linear sequence number.
