2-20-2025 🧾 There’s a lot of misconceptions around EIP-4337 vs. EIP-7702. What EIP-7702 doesn’t solve on its own: 1. No Gas Abstraction: Users still need ETH to pay for gas, unless combined with ERC-4337 paymasters. 2. No Persistent Smart Account: Once the transaction ends, the EOA reverts to its standard form without smart contract functionality. 3. No Decentralized Execution: Without 4337, users often rely on centralized relayers for transaction submission, as 7702 itself doesn’t include a decentralized bundler system. EIP-4337 and EIP-7702 work hand in hand to enable smart account functionality while maintaining censorship resistance and avoiding reliance on centralized relayers.

2-13-2025 ⁉️ Intents are great, until they’re not - Cross-chain intents are amazing for UX, but also a black box for power dynamics. Who gets to solve? Who gets paid? Who decides what’s allowed? How do we ensure censorship resistance for the user? If we’re not careful, we end up with permissioned middlemen instead of an open system. The future of Ethereum interop depends on getting this right 🚀

2-11-2025 😭 I’ve spent a lot of time looking under the hood at people’s code implementations. There is a lot of talk of decentralization without actually being decentralized. People say they want censorship resistant systems but add small changes to do the opposite 😅 cmon guys get it together 👏🏼 Meme credit goes to @tomteman.eth
