There’s a lot of misconceptions around EIP-4337 vs. EIP-7702.

What EIP-7702 doesn’t solve on its own:
	
1.	No Gas Abstraction: Users still need ETH to pay for gas, unless combined with ERC-4337 paymasters. 

2.	No Persistent Smart Account: Once the transaction ends, the EOA reverts to its standard form without smart contract functionality.

3.	No Decentralized Execution: Without 4337, users often rely on centralized relayers for transaction submission, as 7702 itself doesn’t include a decentralized bundler system.

EIP-4337 and EIP-7702 work hand in hand to enable smart account functionality while maintaining censorship resistance and avoiding reliance on centralized relayers.
