Talking to potential users is crucial as you scale. These are the 4 most important things I’ve realized while talking to users:

1️⃣ Be curious  
Ask questions and listen deeply. Users often reveal what they need by sharing their pain points or experiences.

2️⃣ Focus on value, not features 
Instead of listing features, explain how your product solves their problem or improves their life. Benefits > features.

3️⃣ Don’t assume, validate
It’s easy to assume you know what users want. Test your ideas in conversation. Real feedback beats assumptions.

4️⃣ Be approachable 
Keep the conversation relatable - don’t use jargon. Users respond more truthfully when they feel comfortable and understood. 

User interviews are about building trust and learning, not pitching!
