08-28-2024 š² The future of onchain rewards is evolving as creators are realizing that they can get paid real $$ onchain for providing valuable content. Someone who comes to mind is @afrochicks and how she has created an income stream through sharing her journey as a track athlete. Instagram and Facebook take, take, take from creators, whereas decentralized social shares the rewards with the creator. With a potential TikTok ban looming and Web2 social media networks taking an even larger share of profits from creators, creators want a decentralized network where they, not the networks, receive the rewards from their posts.
