Pretty sure I don't have to explain this to a defi marketer, but just to clarify why this is an unfair assessment: Dune works on live networks, Lens network (and v3, what you call "the protocol", which is no longer the case) is in testnet. The best way to see a testnet is through its block explorer, which is here: https://block-explorer.testnet.lens.dev/

pretty sure if you want to prove any point or correct my statement, we need to compare apples to apples. The screenshot shows DAU metric. Okay, it's inaccurate. Block explorer says nothing about DAU. What is the correct number? Or the latest correct number that could be used as a source of truth. I want to know how many people are using Lens.

yeah, i wanted to correct sharing the old dashboard (mistakenly) but couldn’t find a new DAU number. the block explorer isn’t intuitive for quickly calculating DAU and it doesn’t seem like there will be a v3 dune dashboard until the migration is done in a week or two.

There's no way to calculate DAU on a protocol that is not live yet @kugusha.eth @ted. The deprecated protocol's DAU is here: https://dune.com/lens/lens-protocol Another important thing - we think DAU is not a correct metric in the context of web3 at such an early stage. We look at interacting users and at the quality such. You can find them in the first section.

thanks for sharing! will check it out for people outside the Avara circle or not on Lens, everything you’re sharing (like Lens V3 testnet) isn’t common knowledge so i do appreciate you helping us learn the snide remarks i appreciate less and discourage me from using Lens. btw we’re not professional marketers
