Kitten Update: Big Yawn!

Momma and her babies have been relocated inside. We cleared out a room and set up a big kennel in there for them so she can get acclimated slowly. So far, so good—she’s chillin! Just hoping that she’ll be OK to use the litter box in there.

Even stray/feral cats adapt really quickly to using litterboxes!

Yea I know that. My bigger concern is that we have it in the kennel with her. It’s in the back, and separated by a sheet, but still worried she might not want to shit where she sleeps so to speak.

I let her out of the kennel just now and pulled the litter out and set her in it and she didn’t use it, so idk.

She didn’t get skittish so I think she’s acclimating well. She went back in by herself when she saw me messing with the babies

Ah, yeah.  That depends entirely on their temperament.  Some cats care about that more than others.
