I didn’t say that wasn’t the case.

I said people don’t pay attention to engagement if it doesn’t drive sales. None of the clients I work with give a damn about engagement if it doesn’t also come with revenue.

Outside of brand building or specific product initiatives, paying attention to engagement is about one of the worst metrics you could look at and it has been for many years.
