This 1000% dude! We have been leaning into this view hard especially with Ember. Experiences and memories are so much more valuable than any material thing. We have decided to pool Christmas funds going forward to pay for a family adventure instead of loading up on “stuff”. Her grandparents still send the traditional presents and stuff so she doesn’t feel left out of that part but we want so badly to make those memories doing fun stuff together 🩵
