Lack of interesting content is part of the issue, but I don’t think it’s the biggest cause for the decline in DAU. Warpcast is not friendly to new users. Hell, a lot of them end up in the ‘see more replies’ section on their 1st day. Ultimately, I don’t come to here for the content. I come here for the people.

I agree with this for sure dude. The way things are set up isn't very kind to new users and unlike other social apps you don't just have to sign up and use the app especially if you want to take part in any of the 100 things that are going on here and be a part of any of those communities (degen, ham etc). I can't imagine going through all of that effort and then finding out nobody even see's your replies and there is almost no way to make friends and have interactions. That has to be super discouraging. I have a couple friends who have tried very hard to come here and be a part of this and just end up casting into the void and eventually losing interest. I love this place but I would love to see it be a whole lot friendlier to the new friends who join.

Agreed. I think they should really lean into people features. Which might be the goal with the huge channel change coming. We’ll see.

That’s the best news. They are constantly making changes and trying to grow this place and seem to be quite interested in feedback from the community. I can’t think of another app where they are basically building it alongside the community with so much weight put on that interaction between the two. Really makes it feel like you are a part of building it too. Retaining new people by making it more user friendly and friendly to new users seems like it would go a long way as far as growth is concerned. Is there a frame out there that explains the basic set up and how to get started? That being the first thing you see when you set up an account could definitely help if so. Also teaches you how frames work in the same steps so two birds sorta thing. The hiding replies thing is a separate issue that needs remedied as well like you said.
