I have heard from a few people who are concerned about the reducing Moxie emissions, so I wanted to share my take. Reducing emissions is an absolutely necessary and healthy activity—especially when it’s managed carefully. Back in April, when DEGEN was on the moon, emissions were drastically cut compared to prior seasons. This move dampened enthusiasm for the project and Warpcast in general. If emissions had been managed more strategically, who knows how it might have impacted DAU and price? Watching the Airstack team handle emissions with precision is bullish AF. They’re setting things up for long-term /success.

Every step they’ve made has been right on at the right time. I don’t mind this at all, less daily rewards means less daily sales (for some) and an increase in token price. The % gains of FT’s might go down slightly but it’s pretty absurd right now and not sustainable.

agree with you fully! i think the /airstack team is taking great strides and care to make whatever changes they make very slowly at very little increments. while i get that changes are still changes i do think if they need to be made...they are doing it correctly. there is no way to sustain a token / protocol at the same levels it starts at so if they keep doing what they are doing...carefully, all should be ok! boooolish! also, the reduction of farscores was so necessary! i love that they didnt really pull from super active people that are really busting their asses -- just inactive accounts and also accounts that were so high in the sky...it just needed to be done -- even a tad earlier, but again, better late than never!

Sustainability is always a concern, always has been with this app as long as I’ve been here, gotta trust the process, hard to do so unless there is clear communication and the everyday users felt heard, I think they’re doing a good job so far with this

Agree. Emissions are attraction mechanisms that should target being just enough to stimulate growth while booting up the flywheel. They should always decrease with time and as revenue increases Being early and right pays

They’ve reduced emissions TWICE for everyone because boosted accounts max out their daily interactions for clout and replyke farm It literally wasn’t an issue

couldn’t agree more with this… imo - it’s a necessary part of a project with emissions…. the team needs to watch the project and adjust accordingly… On one of my project teams we made it where the DAO voted with their holdings on how the emissions should go…
