fox-news conservatives love to signal their gun fetish, as if it makes them look dangerous, cool, and competent. it's childish: you can own and use guns without fetishizing them. healthy fear for a powerful tool is respectful, humble. humility isn't a maga trait and that makes them vulnerable. the notion that people who value freedom are incapable of defending that philosophy is... naive at best. you just don't know i'm armed because i didn't share it on youtube like a dumbass. the world we live in today was built by liberal, freedom aligned people who took up arms against tyranny. fucking DUH lol

I feel like you and I align very closely politically. Were you a Ron Paul fan?

I haven't paid attention to much of it at all over the last 8 years so I couldn't even tell you how he's changed. But, I was also a fan back in like the 08 era. His debate performance back then always got me going.

what i liked most was his reasonable, fact based approach to argument. especially when american conservatives were /already/ getting worked-over by fox entertainment, thanks to easy and emotional leverage like 9/11 and the manufactured anti-obama stuff.
