Started experimenting with some scripts on identifying clusters onchain ⛓️

First idea 💡"Transfer Cycles", where i look at transfers that go around and end at the some point. Using @dune.eth data on Zksync native transfers, i could identify several clusters, including the one below (57 nodes)

Besides the cycle(s) that could be found i also looked at other connections between these nodes and as it turns out there are many more connections to be found in this example as you can see below, especially from one address🔗

This analysis was done using the python package networkx, which builds a graph and can be used to easily find all kinds of patterns. Will share more analysis on identifying clusters/patterns in the future! 🔍

Thanks! Yes funding is one of the other ways i am trying to figure out, but i am using more of a cluster method for that at this point, will give an update when i can 👍🏻

very cool. tried networkx package a couple of years ago & was very helpful. Have you also been able to identify other simpler clusters such as getting the funding from the same source , using the same CEX deposit address etc?

Yeah just native transfers even in this case, of zk airdrop receivers, so just from, to, value

Curious how does the underlying data look like? Did you grab token transfers for all addresses at some given time?
