I have just been working outside lately and let me tell you: It feels good! I can feel my body and be present. Today I went all around town to find the best and cheapest organic compost and came across a new delivery of a beautiful rose variety with a peachy pink color range… Somehow I have never been drawn to roses or their fragrance, but seeing them in multitudes was definitely uplifiting!

I never used to be either, they felt so overused but then I started shooting them and it all changed. Now they’re one of my favourites. 400 👏🏻

I've had similar sentiment about roses, maybe because they represent something I haven't felt part of - traditional man woman stuff, maybe roses for me has called for a kind of man that I haven't been able to live up to. But seen separated from that, roses are quite magnificent 😊 and I have been able to appreciate them more lately.

I agree with you, roses seem too common and popular..... but after I became friends with a friend who is a florist I saw so many unusual and beautiful varieties of roses that I fell in love with them, they are really beautiful
