The only wallet I’ve been able to connect with on mobile is Coinbase Wallet. Rainbow says “connection failed” regardless of the site, and even when the site uses Rainbow kit. Metamask’s connect dialog never shows up. I know Metamask is notorious for not working, is anyone else having issues with rainbow?

I highly recommend android: make Brave your default browser and turn on wallet iOS: Install Dawn with extension in Safari rest of web3 ecosystem is -> 🤡

Yes. Rainbow works better than mm but both seem to work on and off in spurts. Mine works but only after I fight it

Rainbow is having issues because a lot of apps are still running walletconnect v1 which was deprecated on June 28th Your wallet is up to date, the apps are not unfortunately

What library are using for connect and does it support wallet connect 2.0? Wallet Connect upgraded recently and broke a lot of things that did not update.

I contacted Rainbow support and they said to reset the whole app and add my wallet in again. Now it seems to be working, but I am cautiously optimistic.

Yes, on Android Does not work with brave (was okay last week although slow, once again unusable now) Works with chrome although the same connection failed dialogue box appears (still it works)

+1 for Coinbase wallet. Works very ok. Only downside I’ve found is that it doesn’t have a nice UI for sign in with Ethereum (ERC-4361).

The ‘connection failed’ error in a rainbow is most often caused because the dapp is still using WC v1 and that service was sunsetted
