Is it the idea or the person? 24 hours ago @balajis.eth suggested using mods and NFTs to enhance Farcaster. A mere mention and now there’s a live working group motivated to tackle it. If a rando shared it, would it have inspired so much action? Probably not. The true effect of “influencers”. We are influenced.

One other thing: lens is already doing some of the things that Balaji suggested, minus the mods part. So the idea is not new (and it does not need to be), but it proves what you said.

That might be different. Not everyone would know how Lens works. So hearing an old idea for the first time could trigger action…and I’d say that’s ok

Ok fair point. Even though I would be surprised if the majority of farcaster users don't know how lens works. Especially when they are web3 developers.
