Any tips for a founder (me) who isn’t good at social media promotion? I recognize it’s necessary especially because my customers spend a lot of time on social, but it’s definitely not my main interest or skill.

Find your authentic voice … just be yourself and stick to what you’re comfortable with Be proud of your work and try to communicate why you are, and do so in your most authentic voice

I think especially with short videos as a trending social media type, authenticity is really important. People are over the super “perfect” edited videos and want to see real!

would say hire a ghostwriter to handle your account, set your content, and you need to approve before they could tweet for you or you tweet etc

Focus on authenticity and sharing your journey. Don’t aim for perfect; your audience will appreciate genuine content. If time’s tight, consider hiring a social media manager. Tools like Hootsuite or Buffer can also help streamline posts. Engage in communities relevant to your industry.

tip 1: always ask questions prefaced by "asking for a friend...". hehe
