Until a few years ago, when I heard that a child had a bad day at school, I would call the school and talk to the teacher when it was clearly the school's fault. For the past few years, I've been asking the kids, why don't you and the teacher talk directly to them first? I started asking the kids This is a huge growth for me. I hate unreasonable things, and this is a way for me to think calmly again!
