Gm I suppose you’re familiar with the Church of Las Salinas, as it’s one of my personal favorites to photograph. Over the years, I’ve captured it in different lights, moods, and seasons, creating pieces like “Church of Las Salinas at the Cabo de Gata Natural Park” and “Framed by Time.” It never ceases to inspire me with its timeless presence and how it stands resilient against the elements. The photo I’m sharing now has been sitting in my archives for quite some time, waiting for the right moment to be brought to life. Taken a while ago, this is a panoramic image carefully composed of multiple frames, requiring meticulous work to stitch together seamlessly. Last night, I finally decided to dive into it, and after hours of editing, it’s ready to share.

This obsession with a particular place reminds me a bit of Hokusai's series of views of Fuji mountain. Very nice work with stitching the images together. The meticulousness is similar to the drawing of the eye that you made. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to seeing more views. 100 $degen

Thank you so much for that comparison, it means a lot! Hokusai's series is such an iconic body of work, so it's humbling to even be reminded of it. The photos I took that day had been sitting unnoticed for a while, but the other day, as I was going through some half-edited ones, I came across this shot. I decided it was time to finish it. You’ve probably seen other images I’ve shared of this small church in the fishing village of Cabo de Gata.

Hokusai's body of work beyond the Fuji series is incredibly humbling. They drew everything one could imagine and more. It's astonishing. Have seen some of the images before. Commented about the one on the right just the other day. It's a favourite thus far.
