i've once fallen victim to “you should walk 10k steps every day” and became a prisoner of that number. better not do that if you start feeling like 9,999 is not enough and 10,001 is just fine — that's total shit. better set a goal of taking a walk with sb, or going out to take your fav coffee and watch birds or whatever. stop counting the numbers.

I’ve never paid much attention to those goals. I don’t even have one of those watches that track and measure everything you do.
