How do you explain to life that you can't take any more hits?
There comes a point when the weight becomes unbearable, when every new hit feels like it's pressing against an old wound that never truly healed. You try to stand tall, to keep your head up, but the blows keep coming, each one a reminder that sometimes life doesn't listen, that it doesn't care if you're at the edge of what you can handle.
Maybe there is no way to tell life to stop. Maybe it doesn't understand words or tears. But you do. You understand your own breaking point. You know when it's time to shelter yourself, to stop pushing so hard, to give yourself the space to heal without expecting more hits to come.
There is a quiet strength in knowing when enough is enough. It's okay to say, "No more today." It's okay to know that you've had enough for now. Because even the strongest hearts need rest, and even the most resilient souls need moments of stillness to rebuild, to find the courage to face tomorrow, on their own terms.
