what's a kind thing someone did for you that had an outsized impact on your life?

I was ranting about crypto at a non-crypto event many years ago, and a woman came up to me and grabbed my arm and said, "I'd like to get to know you."

I was 22, kinda lost in life, and she believed in me more than I did myself. Her name is Joanna and she introduced me to her network and said, "I'll write you a $50k check for anything you want to do."

By the time I raised money, there were many people who wrote checks for us, but Joanna's confidence in me fueled me when I had none for myself. She changed my life and continues to be a mentor and close friend.
