we use it for mint with warps. it's the address of the wallet that will actually execute the transaction, if it's different from the taker (recipient of the token)

how does reservoir get permission to use the funds from that wallet? The API doesn't seem to take in a signature

The low level API just returns mint calldata for you to execute yourself. The high level SDK can use a Viem wallet or "adapter." 

But basically...they don't, it's up to you to execute the tx.
