As much as this is an ideal, it’s impractical to hope clients will abide by this. This is only evident when you actually try and build a successful client.

In a crowded, clients compete for differentiation. You can’t build a differentiated product on commoditized APIs alone.

Uniswap, Aave, ENS apps likely make use of indexed APIs in lieu of Browser wallet RPC or else they risk being outcompeted by better clients.

Same for farcaster clients.

Clients choosing to route some interactions through user-chosen hubs and the rest through indexed APIs is definitely possible. But then users will end up with a minor fractured experience in case the hubs across these two aren’t in full sync.

uniswap-uncensored.eth works fine for me. 99% of the features are there.
