Uhhh, the land is South facing so they are getting sun pretty much all day long as it moves from East to West. Spirals symbolize the expansion of life and consciousness…. 😉

No need for permits for this type of building. The size of the works s under the threshold requiring permits We have built the spiral in a way that allows for wheelchair accessibility (width of aisles)

Over the weekend, 5 volunteers worked to position the final beds of our spiral and added the doors to the greenhouse.

The greenhouse continued to show us a hard time but we did manage to build all the walls and roof. We’ve just got the doors and windows to get up now

5 hardworking volunteers in all. The next step is to put up the walls which will happen during our next workshop planned for the weekend of Feb 21st

At Théra, we just spent 6 days in building workshops with volunteers to put up our greenhouse. It was quite hard core as we discovered just how hard our ground is, mostly limestone and clay.

Our water tanks quickly filled up with the first rain. We didn’t even have a chance to put in the overflows! Working on that now….
