Our water tanks quickly filled up with the first rain. We didn’t even have a chance to put in the overflows! Working on that now….

Veggies starting to sprout up already! Garlic and 3 different radishes on the rise! Next weekend we will be building our greenhouse! Stay tuned for that!

Thank you @flowit ! I just tried posting a couple updates but having trouble uploading them for some reason. Will try again soon! Tanks are full and veggies are sprouting! Our next job is building a greenhouse, planned for next weekend!

Starting the new year off with a bang…. We set up all four of our water retainer tanks yesterday and today. Our permaculture community garden will be watered as needed come springtime!

This month, we enjoyed sowing garlic cloves and also got ready for rain water retention.

We managed to build 6 out of the 9 raised beds so far and about half of the stone herb garden. Unfortunately, we will have to redo part of it to start off with larger stones…. 🤪

We held our first community workshop event to build our permaculture garden from Nov 14th-26th. 12 volunteers came to help us build the garden.

We have been building a permaculture garden at our bioregional learning center, Théra. The center aims to be a showcase for regenerative ways of living and provide learning opportunities and support for the bioregion inhabitants. Here is a pic of the bit of land we chose for the garden before we started.
