Over the weekend, 5 volunteers worked to position the final beds of our spiral and added the doors to the greenhouse.

We even had a mini hail storm fall upon us conveniently during our lunch break

I grew up with a close friend that’s mom was one of the early permaculture pioneers. (Penny Livingston)
We built the first permaculture library of California, out of cob & straw bale construction & a cob pizza oven, when I was about 12!!!📚🍕
(Studied quite a bit since then but went into landscape architecture eventually, after some advice from a great teacher who had told me the way to make a fortune in organic farming was to start with a bigger fortune…😅
Plus he knew I had been working in landscaping since I was about 12 & it was in the late 90’s so a very different era)

Uhhh, the land is South facing so they are getting sun pretty much all day long as it moves from East to West. Spirals symbolize the expansion of life and consciousness…. 😉
