What if purpose does not need to be found but cultivated? Would it change your perspective? If so (or not), why?

my experience as a general creative is that purpose 100% needs to be cultivated. ive spent the last 15 years of my life working on it haha

how do you cultivate it as an artist? share some wisdom. isn’t life but a journey to master the art of living?

6) Once you are there, its sort of a trial and error process to figure out how to offer that to the world in a way that it will accept it haha

5) As that void starts being replaced by a personality of your own design, you then have to learn to stop seeing yourself as an individual separate from the rest of the world, and instead as an individual who has something nobody else can offer to the world through your individuation.

1) okay so i have a tendency to say things that require a ton of context to really explain what i mean haha so ill try to keep it simple but it will probably be a few parts. Purpose to me seems to come from finding a way to create purpose in other peoples lives and trying to leave the world better than we entered it

4) removing all of those things leave you with a sort of massive void in who you are, and in finding something to fill that void that comes from ourselves and not somebody else's influence really seems to be where purpose begins to form.

3) So i feel that before we can even find purpose, we need to find who we are as an individual, removing all the conditioning, personality traits, trauma, and whatever else that was installed by the world around us, and see who is left after its all removed.

2) Thats a pretty subjective concept, which means that trying to find it through how other people find it, really doesn't work. Its essentially a spiritual bypass, leaving you trying to connect with somebody else's construct of what "divinity" is (Carl Jung fan btw lol)
