like ok, streaming services are predatory and pay artists peanuts, but is a new streaming service thats on-chain really going to fix that?

i mean thats fair but i dont see a world where music nfts are long term sustainable.

spotify and the likes have such a stranglehold and can kill sounds entire moat with a single parameter change

t’s an easy platform to use that takes a 10% cut or less & all the $$$ goes to the actually artist. Versus 30% to label, and 50% to others and usually only 10-20% to artist. I’ve worked with a popular musician who launched a music NFT & they have made more money from that then 5 years of streaming

They won't, they're gonna opt for something much more user friendly to people who want nothing to do with crypto
