The bank should consider a specific wallet for itself and give it to the customers, then send a confirmation to the customer's wallet for confirmation with this wallet

would this happen live on the call? like Agent: hi I’m calling from JP Morgan. What’s your public wallet, I’ll send an official agent tag Me: commstarkrunsthworld.eth (Agent sends NFT, I get it and can verify it came from JPMorgan.eth wallet) is that correct?

two follow up questions: 1) how do we consider speed in all of this: sometimes mints take a few minutes to show up. 2) how do we offer access of a corporate wallet to low level customer service agents (with high turnover across many countries and offices) for social media posts it’s easy: the marketing team has a few wallet owners who are responsible for approving tweets but that’s much lower volume and more senior positions

It's a good question, but in my opinion, in any bank, employees have access to customer accounts, and it's not just related to wallet, And about speed I think it can be done in a few minutes.

doesn’t it have to be from a well known and trusted official public wallet address? or rather if every agent has a wallet, how will the customer know that it’s an official wallet and not a scam?

Exactly the wallet should be official and related to the bank, not the agent

so you would give say 1000 agents globally all access to mint and sign with this wallet that sounds like a non secure wallet doesn’t it?

It is better to limit 1000 agents to branches, for example, to have 100 branches and each branch has 10 agents.

so each branch has a wallet? I guess my concern is that if more than a handful of people with high security clearance have access to a wallet, then it loses its purported purpose I need to be able to get a transaction from a trusted wallet in under 30 seconds for this to work right

How do exchanges do this πŸ‘€ Binance wallet 1 - Binance wallet 2 - Binance wallet 3 - Binance wallet 4, … can't the same method be used?

do exchanges do this (as in they have security over their agents today?)? maybe I don’t understand the proposed solution like if you have 100 wallets each for a branch then how will a customer know that the wallet they interact with is legit? A customer is going to remember/save every wallet name or address. They will do one at most.

I think the bank can find people it trusts, by taking heavy collaterals, I don't have much information, but I think if the bank is going to communicate with the user in this way, it is better to introduce a series of specific accounts to the user, for example tell the user wallet A B, C are related to the bank and write them down, then match them if necessary. Another idea, can't all this be automated? So that there is no need for an agent

ya so this would be even more important when it’s automated (and actually was the original conversation I had with a friend) a robot ai calls me. I can get authenticated over the phone using regular authentication methods… but how do I know I can trust the ai bot I’m speaking with
