In a Wednesday interview on Bloomberg TV, SEC Chair Gary Gensler reiterated his stance that the crypto industry is "rife with bad actors." He categorized the industry into two segments: Bitcoin and "everything else." Gensler remarked, "I've been in finance for over four decades, and typically, markets are influenced by a mix of fundamentals and sentiment. However, I've never encountered a field as heavily driven by sentiment and so disconnected from fundamentals as crypto."
