In 2024, the global number of crypto developers remained stable, with 23,613 monthly active developers in November, reflecting a 7% year-over-year decline. The Solana ecosystem attracted 7,625 new developers, an 83% increase, surpassing Ethereum's 6,244 new developers. Despite this, Ethereum remains the largest developer ecosystem, with more than half of its activity driven by Layer 2 networks.
