Counter from someone who doesn’t watch TV: it can make you feel really left out from cultural conversation lol

I have found it to be an interesting way to allow conversations to flow.

When someone talks to me about shows I try to pull on strings that have interesting real-world ideas or just fun things to talk about.

If someone else is watching it, says something about them, makes convos fun imo.

word i hear that. that's why i say 90% and not 100%. i do think some tv shows are just fantastic content - e.g., house of dragons
