For me, i cannot verify my phone because it has been 'claimed' before. I have one farcaster account, and haven't used this number. @dwr.eth any ideas?

Looks like it was a me problem all along 😅

I’m getting an error while they give me the verification code for the phone number. I’m actually not getting the verification code and they says that I have received one
I have tried it on multiple mobile phones on IOS and Android both and they both are the latest models (just incase if someone says it the mobile problem)

Tbh I would normally be reluctant, but my number is already indirectly linked here via Twitter. 

I am now leaning towards this is something I did as an old dummy. I found out the number was used in May 2024. Seems like this was about the time i started using the desktop client. There is a good chance I did something wrong in that process if there was an opportunity to mess up 😅

yeah, I'm not giving my phone number to a crypto SM site.

Naw it's a way to ensure you cannot be labeled spam (or i suppose get unlabeled if already spam) and be eligible for different things by them knowing your geo location (or be ineligible based on geo location to stay within the law)

You got only one SIM/number? as you can see there's so many bugs exist on Warpcast right now.

Idk, I'd think Google voice numbers wouldn't work as this would be a way bots could verify.

Anyway, i have a good and valid number ive had for over 2 decades. I think there is an issue in the process. Hoping to get some eyes on this.

I did the verification. I think it's ok to get a boost for more verification. 

re: the number not working I would try a google voice number see if that works.

I found out earlier that if you disconnect your Twitter and reconnect, you could get more points. Mine went from 400 to 1600!

I only have this account. I've never had another warpcast account. That's what has me puzzled

Do you mind sharing the other account — in private or in public? My guess is that when you signed up for that account, you were asked for a phone number and used it. I can confirm this if you share that account info. Thanks!

I hope this is already resolved. When I did mine there was no issue at all so I believe it'll be fixed soon. And I think you're amazing because you're already in level 2

Until now I have not received the OTP code... it has never been sent even though I have resended it many times...

Didn’t have any issues verifying personally. Unfortunately I still didn’t make level 2 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

Not being able to verify your phone number is a major issue. That’s something where Merkle’s lack of direct support really hurts.

It is not showing for me at all which is strange... everyone has it but me 😭

I have the same problem. I can't confirm at the moment.
