The anime 86 (Eighty-Six) has won various awards, including "Best Drama" at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2022, as well as nominations for Anime of the Year, Best Director, and Best Score. At the Newtype Anime Awards 2021, it won "Best TV Anime", Best Director (Toshimasa Ishii), Best Screenplay, Best Mecha Design, and Best Sound, making it one of the best mecha anime in recent years....
