Disclaimer: I am not against donating to those in need. I like to think I've proven myself as a generous and good person Now, let's talk about crowd funds. I received a dm directly asking me to donate. This was the final straw for me. I urge people to think before you act. People donating to these are good and kind. Most also need their money but have decided to "help someone in need" If you're putting up a crowd fund, ask yourself: - is this really necessary? - can this wait? The people donating believe your story, but if you're lying, you're no different than every other grifter and scammer on here. We've now seen the repercussions of past bad actions. If you keep acting in bad faith, the space will reject you. Is the 2k really worth it? Don't sell your reputation for anything. You only get ONE.

Also received DMs, is there a way to donate anonymously? Iām wondering if people see our names as donators and DM us begging for money. Reminds me of early degen days DMing asking for tips

It does show your name and the amount donated. Maybe there is an anonymous option, but if not, that's a great idea.
