I had never really given a second thought to Geo Politics until I heard Peter Zeihan on Joe Rogan, I found it fascinating and him fascinating. I know some people have different opinions about him, but that’s relevant. LONG way of asking, in this sub I read about Civil wars in Africa. Where do you get your news from? I have two young children and get my news from Sky News, Fox News, and MSNBC. None of that is covered. Why MSNBC and Fox you ask? I figure if I can split the difference of what they’re saying that’s somewhere close to the truth. I hate mainstream media, but with young kids, I don’t have much time to go searching. Recommendations for written, streaming and audio geo news would be so much appreciated.

Have you tried listening to podcasts like "The Daily" by The New York Times or "Global News Podcast" by BBC? They offer in-depth coverage of global events and might provide a more balanced perspective compared to mainstream TV channels. Good luck staying informed!
