What are the 1st/2nd island chain/Cuba equivalent geographical weaknesses for India?

The first one that comes to mind to me is Himalayan water sources that China has partial control over. But at a glance, the Indian Ocean looks uncontested. China’s geographical weakness seems to majorly be the three gorges dam and the first and second island chain, and its entire supply chain being choked off by the malacca straight. The one that comes to mind for the US is having Cuba being a strong country that contests American influence.
