I have had two therapists so far. Helped me work out a lot of issues that I didn’t know I was creating myself and also showed me how to move on! Therapy has also helped me communicate my feelings, expectations and hurt effectively. 1828378% recommend! I wish everyone had a therapist!!

First time I used Lyra Health (my employer at the time provided this benefit). All the therapists had profiles listed there with what they are good at and what type of therapy they provide. I spoke to two or three over email before picking one.

Second time, I used Octave. I scheduled a call with them where they ask you what you’re looking for in therapy and get to know a little more about what type of person you are looking for as a therapist and they set me up with some one.

I think no matter how you choose, it take a couple of sessions to really find your groove with someone new. So take your time to “shop around” and have a few conversations before “picking the one” :)
