For physical health, I've found that consistency trumps intensity. Three things that work for me: 1. Morning workouts before my brain can make excuses - I aim for 6 hours of exercise weekly, split between Muay Thai and basketball 2. Sleep is non-negotiable - I use an alarm to go to bed, not just to wake up 3. Time in nature whenever possible - photography gets me outside and present Mentally, the biggest game-changer has been ruthless calendar protection. I block "thinking time" just like meetings and treat it as equally important. When building feels overwhelming, I remind myself that success is like surfing - you need to paddle through small waves for hours to catch the big one. As for the fittest person in the Farcaster/Base community, @jessepollak stands out. Not just because he's physically active (i don't know about his exercising habits), but because he radiates this incredible focused energy while maintaining balance. He's building something transformative with Base while still making time for himself and h...

Thanks for sharing your experience with Talent Protocol! Our approach to KOL and influencer engagement focuses on value-first rather than pure marketing. We're building reputation tools that directly benefit content creators by verifying their work and providing objective metrics they can leverage with sponsors or collaborators. Rather than paying for promotion, we're developing our "Creator Score" (launching later this year) that will help influencers quantify and showcase their true impact. We've found that the most authentic advocacy comes from builders who actually use our product - which is why we're prioritizing product development that solves real problems for creators before scaling our influencer strategy.

During slow periods, I stay motivated by focusing on builder feedback rather than market conditions. Every time a user tells us how our Builder Score helped them get recognized or opened a door, it reinforces that we're solving a real problem. These small wins become fuel when the broader momentum isn't there. My core conviction is that talent is distributed globally, but opportunity isn't. I deeply believe verified reputation will create more meritocratic access to opportunities than traditional resumes ever could. This isn't just a product we're building—it's a more fair system for recognizing builders anywhere in the world. That mission-driven purpose keeps me going even when progress feels incremental rather than exponential.

Beyond timing, product, and team, I believe the critical factor for onchain reputation success is integration with real economic incentives. Reputation only matters when it directly connects to opportunities, rewards, or access. We've seen this with Base integrating our Builder Score into their rewards program - builders care because it's tied to real value, not just a vanity metric. As for onchain social adoption, we're in the "useful, not mainstream" phase. I don't think we need mass adoption for reputation systems to work - we need targeted utility for specific communities first. The inflection point will come when developers can build reputation-enabled apps without understanding the underlying blockchain technology, and when users receive clear benefits (like airdrops, access, or opportunities) based on their verified contributions rather than just self-reported resumes.

When evaluating quality beyond activity, we focus on signals rather than subjective judgments. For developers, we track metrics likeGitHub stars and smart contract interactions as objective proxies showing how others value their work. For creators and future professions like designers, we're building around "recognition by peers" - tracking verifiable signals like attestations from established professionals. Rather than perfect assessment, we aim to create enough signal-to-noise difference to identify genuine professionals from those simply claiming credentials.

The most impactful use cases we've seen are ecosystem reward systems and application-level verification. Base uses our Builder Score to distribute rewards to top contributors without applications, while apps like Etherscan integrate our data to add reputation context to addresses, filtering out noise and highlighting real builders. We're pursuing both infrastructure and application growth simultaneously. While expanding our data sources and verification capabilities, we're also incubating specific integrations like our "Human Checkmark" for Sybil resistance. Our strategy for encouraging adoption includes building a strong developer ecosystem with comprehensive documentation, reference implementations, and direct support for early integrators who can showcase the value of portable, verified reputation in their applications.

You've understood correctly about our portable, user-owned approach to reputation. For ecosystem expansion, we're prioritizing developer-centric chains like Base, Ethereum and Optimism first. When entering a new ecosystem, we start with basic verification metrics (transactions, contracts deployed) before adding deeper integrations with ecosystem-specific tools. Our roadmap includes building an open attestation framework and standardized reputation primitives that make it easier for any platform to integrate verifiable reputation data.

maybe the biggest surprise was seeing builders value recognition over financial rewards. Having your contributions verified and Builder Score displayed on platforms like Etherscan created as strong engagement as token incentives. We didn't expect ecosystems to become our most enthusiastic customers. Protocols like Base integrated our Builder Score to identify and reward builders without applications or reviews. These insights shaped our token model to focus more on utility (API access and governance) rather than speculation. Building in public allowed our community to help refine our vision in real-time.

Great question! While our core focus remains building the best onchain reputation system, we're already extending beyond purely crypto use cases. Our approach to adoption follows three paths: 1. Make verified data useful for both web3 and traditional companies looking to hire real builders 2. Create integrations with popular platforms where builders already spend time 3. Focus on developer experience, our API makes it extremely easy to add reputation context to any app The beauty of building in web3 is that reputation becomes portable. Your Builder Score can follow you everywhere online, whether you're using crypto-native or traditional platforms. This portability is our bridge between onchain and offchain worlds. Rather than trying to replace LinkedIn entirely, we're building a complementary layer that does one thing exceptionally well: identifying real builders based on verified contributions rather than self-reported resumes.

This is an excellent question about our future direction! We're already moving in this direction with our Human Checkmark - a protocol primitive that aggregates verified proof-of-humanity data from trusted sources like Binance, Coinbase, Galxe Passport, human tech, and World ID. Rather than building our own KYC solution, we're taking a more composable approach by: Aggregating existing verified identity sources into a simple signal Making this verification accessible to any app through our API Combining this with our Builder Score to create a more complete reputation picture Several projects are already using this to filter for real humans while preserving privacy. Unlike traditional KYC that shares personal details, our approach only confirms "this is a verified human" without exposing sensitive information. As we grow, we'll continue expanding both our verification sources and integration partners, making human verification a standard building block for the ecosystem.

If I were to describe myself with a Talent Passport, I'd probably want these accomplishments showcased: First, the products I've helped build - specifically Talent Protocol and how we've grown to over 10M indexed accounts and dozens of ecosystem integrations. All the hundreds of newsleters and blog posts I wrotewould be a strong credential Rather than credentials, I'd highlight consistency - showing up daily to build, even when progress seems slow. And finally, my Passport shoulf reflect my weird mix of technical and creative skills - neither a pure engineer nor a pure marketer, but someone who bridges those worlds to ship products people want to use.

another great question @julieinweb3 The Builder Score V2 upgrade in February brought several key improvements: 1. More accurate scoring: We redesigned the scoring system to make it more precise and harder to game, with better signals for distinguishing real builders. 2. Transparent calculation: We separated objective data (Data Points) from subjective scoring (Scoring Systems), making the entire process more understandable. 3. Historical tracking: We introduced an event-based system that tracks reputation changes over time, similar to how Etherscan tracks transactions. Looking ahead, we're focusing on both new features and expanded data sources: - For features, we're prioritizing Builder Index (our search engine for finding builders) and improving API access for developers. - For data points, we're expanding beyond just developer metrics to include other builder types, starting with Creators still this year. Regarding anti-gaming measures, our system's resilience comes from: - Only using verified connections ...

good question not entirely sure, but maybe the vision of turning careers from "single-player" to "multiplayer" came from observing two things: 1. Traditional career paths are isolating; people build resumes independently and compete for positions rather than collaborating on growth. 2. Blockchain enables transparent, verified contributions that can be recognized by communities, not just employers. The inspiration was realizing careers should function more like open-source projects, where contributions are visible and verifiable by the community.

The Builder Rewards program distributing 2 ETH weekly has just started: - It's too early to draw definitive conclusions as only one week has passed. - Initial engagement looks promising, with developers showing interest in verifying their accounts. - We're seeing early signs that making reputation valuable attracts builders. Competition levels and impact on behavior will take time to assess properly, but we're watching closely to understand patterns as they emerge. For interested developers: verify your GitHub and wallet addresses to participate, and stay tuned as we gather more data on what makes the most impact.
