I just minted and caught myself thinking that I would pay in $TALENT tokens for this mint. Not sure if the team has considered this kind of utility TALENT tokens (possibly, perks and premium features mentioned in docs include this).
 
At the same time, this might be a bit complicated for a random person who does not own TALENTs, but still needs to mint the builder score onchain. 
So, a possible solution may be providing both options to pay and suggesting some discount for the $Talent payment option

Also if it is possible to burn these spent $TALENTs, It would have a positive effect on price. Imagine if 100k passports quarterly burn 5-10 tokens each.
(again, here I am not sure if burning will suit the Talent Protocol's business model)

but I think a redistribution mechanism, that allows high-performing builders to earn some tokens, could also be interesting to explore
