Prediction for today's debate and next steps:

Trump will win by a huge margin, and we will see some of that reflected in the polls. And the longer this campaign will run, the bigger his advantage over Kamala will get.

I'm not American, so my perspective is biased as I won't feel all the consequences of a particular candidate winning. 

I hoped that Kamala would offer something more similar to Obama's program, but it looks like Biden v2, so I can't support that

That's an interesting take. In what ways do you see Biden and Harris being different from Obama. Aside from Obama being more charismatic, their actual policies are nearly identical.

I think the biggest us problem is high spending. it doesn't matter if you tax the rich or not - costs are so bloated that this extra revenue won't make any difference other than a political statement.

This is the thing about being a non-US citizen - I don't follow all your political news.

So e.g., I have no idea what exactly did Trump do to destroy the democratic process. I've heard some soundbites here and there ("Stop the count", some of headlines suggesting he supported guys who invaded Congress) but I never dug in.

In a two-party state, one votes for the party one dislikes the least.

And this cannot even begin to resemble a close call — whether you have a vote as a US citizen or you are a concerned citizen watching the dismal democratic process from afar.
