One of my favorite fun facts about Polish politics is that during our capital's mayoral elections in 2002, six candidates for the position played a live-streamed SimCity 3000 contest where they had to grow a city that resembled Warsaw.

The candidate who won later became the mayor of Warsaw and the president of Poland.
