A social network that follows the 90-9-1 rule has around 4500 highly active "creators." How big is the network? How many are "contributors?" How many are "lurkers?" Answers left as an exercise to the reader.

So an active FC user is the one who interacts with the protocol by casting/liking/recasting? Asking since this is how we classify active users on Kiwi, and it ofc shows only a part of the picture. According to Google Analytics - we have about 10X more lurkers than curators, which would be aligned with 90/9/1 rule.

This is the part where we can all (reasonably) argue with each other about what constitutes "active." I think a power badge user is probably in the 1%, a user who logs in without interacting is a lurker in the 90%, and it's harder to classify what's in between.
