blocking makes it so they can't read your posts

muting is just so you don't see theirs

almost all major SM platforms have a block feature. it's one way to combat spam, amongst other things.

can't speak on what should and shouldn't be a priority, but my guess is that is was probably low hanging fruit

reading my posts if they’re muted does nothing why would anyone care (THEY DONT EVEN KNOW) 😂

I mute someone; I don’t see there interactions plain and simple there is no need for a block feature
