that Google chrome still  hasnt shipped extension support @android, when Microsoft has with chromium-edge, is jokes. We've let them get away with this for too long. The gift of v8 is no longer enough

Wdym they haven’t shipped extension support? I can add extensions to my browser so I assume you mean sth more complex? Or do you mean no extensions on android?

Is there any incentive for this or is it just a failure on their part?

In web standards meetings they used ux as the reason -- but now that their privacy sandbox has fallen from grace and users trust chrome less than either presidential candidate we get to watch internet explorer *Edge steal back market share, using Google's own browser engine 😅
