My own manual count of the poll responses from yesterday:

If the monopolist is a corporation: 19 (monopolize) vs 42 (delay)
If the monopolist is a US gov agency: 8 (monopolize) vs 10 (delay)
If the monopolist is an international gov body: 10 (monopolize) vs 16 (delay)

I think you should do the same for a cure for cancer or immortality in order to differentiate if (2) is mainly due to anti-monopoly sentiment or actual AI doom sentiment.

also wonder if the results would remain clear if these were oligopolies instead.
